This is a piece I did for an exhibition organised by The Supply Education Group. The topic was “This Is My Education”. I came up with the idea of learning from errors. The pieces will be shown at Openhouse Gallery in New York City in August. You might also check out the submission of Lisa Röper.

Together with Lisa Röper I was able to do the complete CI for the last exhibition of the Kasseler Kunstverein. Because the exhibition title was so long and abstract we came up with the idea to transform it into an image. For that I build a custom font called Paper. If you want that font you can download it at fontstruct or just send me an email.

The CI for the exhibition included a gigantic poster:

Because there were so many different artists involved we decided to make the catalogue as a collection of posters. Each artist is presented on one sheet and every sheet is loosely assembled, only kept together by the cover:

Advert for graphic design studio MACHBAR. The slogan means something like: “Discover or imagine what’s possible/feasable!” The big advert was printed as the back cover for the catalogue of the Kasseler Documentary Film and Video Festival and the small advert was printed inside.

Neona

Illustration for slanted #9 – Stencil. The idea was that each illustrator get one famous font to work with. My font was Neona by John B. Wundes.

Neona is a font in the spirit of the standard ‘no frills’ sans-serif 4-inch-high neon sign text used in cheap bars, coffee shops, bakeries and tattoo parlors around the world.
