[…] Meier hält seinen Comic ganz in gedämpften Tönen, doch dafür ist auf den Seiten umso mehr los. Die Arrangements der Panels wechseln laufend, und ein besonders eindrucksvolles graphisches Mittel sind extreme Naheinstellungen der Figuren, die von einem computergenerierten Farbraster für die Grüngrautöne besonders klug unterstützt werden. Die Proportionen der Akteure sind leicht ins Groteske verschoben, und auf dem Weg durch die Fabrik ist es unmöglich, die räumliche Orientierung zu behalten – all das trägt zur subtilen Verunsicherung des Lesers bei.
